very nice plates, 4.5" square. beveled edges on all sides, including the holes in the center. one hole is 0.6375" x 1", the other is 0.9830" x 1.42" plates are .0585" thick - about 1/16". solid brass, polished on the front to a mirror finish. we were thinking there were for very posh elevator buttons or something.
